Construction Management Major – Bachelor of Construction
With the Construction Management major in the Bachelor of Construction you can prepare yourself for a career as a construction manager.

Year 1
As part of your first year, you’ll study five core courses all Bachelor of Construction students take, which cover the foundation knowledge for a career in construction. You’ll also study two construction management courses, and one course from your Professional Practice minor.

Construction managers have a vital role in the construction industry. These professionals combine the technical understanding of how construction takes place (in all forms; infrastructure, commercial and residential projects) with the commercial realities of the construction industry.
They bring together the necessary understanding of large, complex construction projects, and the ability to work with a wide range of people with diverse skillsets and backgrounds.
