Find a role and launch your career with NZUni Talent

Looking for that dream job? NZUni Talent can help. NZUni Talent is a job board exclusively for students and graduates. Top employers use NZUni Talent to recruit students and graduates to fill graduate vacancies, internships, volunteering opportunities or entry-level roles. The job board is only open to New Zealand’s eight universities.

As alumni, you can access NZUni Talent for two years after you graduate – giving you a better chance of finding your dream role.

How to use NZUni Talent as a graduate

There are two ways to access NZUni Talent.

  1. Go straight to the site here or
  2. Access the site via Elab Online, the Employability and Careers online base, where you can book workshops on writing CVs, job search etc and one-on-one career advice appointments. All employability and employer events are also listed here.

How to use Elab Online

To gain access to our help and job boards:

  1. Go to Elab Online
  2. Click on ‘Graduate’
  3. Add your full name and student ID number

If you've used Elab Online as a student, you must change your status from ‘Student’ by clicking on ‘Graduate’.

Another option is to simply email us at elab@aut.ac.nz and ask for access to Elab Online.

Include your:

  • Full name
  • AUT student ID number

The good news is that you get access  to our employability and careers support and to NZUni Talent for two years.

Your career support doesn't stop at graduation. For two years after you finish, you can keep using AUT's employability and careers services – join events and workshops, browse resources and look for jobs on Elab Online, our online centre.

Discounted gym membership

Graduation doesn’t have to mean goodbye to your gym. Get a 25% alumni discount on multi-gym memberships for our gyms at the City, North and South campuses. Your membership includes group fitness classes and use of the indoor stadium at the North Campus gym.

Complete the form below to set up your account, and the AUT gym team will apply your 25% alumni discount. There’s no expiry, so you can use it whenever it suits you.

Free library membership

Keep access to ideas, tools and support. With free Associate Library membership for all AUT alumni, you can borrow books and use other library services through Te Mātāpuna Library & Learning Services. Check the library website for details on how to apply.
