Promote your business on campus: take part in employability events

Raise awareness of your business, brand or organisation on campus, and promote your opportunities to our students and graduates. Our events are held in busy areas on campus and always attract a lot of foot traffic.

Attend a career fair to meet students and graduates

Career fairs are an excellent way for employers to meet and recruit student talent. It’s free for you to register a booth or stall for your business, and you’ll meet and observe hundreds of potential employees.

Take part in our Volunteering Expo if you’re a not-for-profit

If your not-for-profit organisation wants to raise awareness or offer volunteer roles, attend our Volunteering Expo and network with AUT students interested in volunteering.

Event dates and registration

Join a panel or give a presentation at our career events series, Employability Matters

Run each semester (twice a year), Employability Matters is an intensive series of employability events and workshops for AUT students. Showcase your industry expertise or promote graduate programmes and internships by joining a panel discussion or giving a presentation to students in a smaller, more intimate setting than a career fair.

Next dates

2019, Semester 2: Monday 23 September to Friday 27 September

Be a guest speaker, hold a workshop or connect with our students in other ways

We run lots of other events across our campuses each year. You can join our leadership speaker series, give a presentation, deliver a workshop – or contact us to talk about other ways you can engage our students and graduates.

Partner with us in our employability awards: offer a volunteer role to a current student

The AUT Edge Award  (open to all students) and Beyond AUT Award (for postgraduate students) encourage students to get involved in activities outside of study – they complete projects in volunteering, employability, leadership and challenge, and reflection.

We'd love to talk with you if you have a volunteering opportunity for a student to:

  • Serve as an extra pair of hands on deck
  • Take on a leadership role with more responsibility
