AUT Integrated Health

Our clinic offers a range of physiotherapy, podiatry and psychotherapy services to the community at a cost-effective price, delivered by students with close staff supervision.

AUT Lab for Cephalopod Ecology and Systematics

AUT’s ‘squid lab’ is a research group investigating the diversity and ecology of cephalopods (mostly squid) that live in NZ waters.

AUT Millennium

AUT Millennium is home to three world-class clinics and a range of sporting facilities, including a state-of-the-art gym, Olympic-size pools, and a track and field stadium.

AUT Roche Diagnostics Laboratory

The AUT Roche Diagnostics Lab houses state-of-the-art machinery and modern equipment used for scientific testing.

Community Gardens

The community gardens at each campus aim to promote sustainability, nutrition and holistic wellbeing, while creating hands-on learning opportunities for students.

Dizziness and Balance Centre

The Dizziness and Balance Centre is staffed by experts who can assess, diagnose and offer rehabilitation services for balance and dizziness issues.

Media Centre

The Media Centre is a collaborative hub equipped with professional broadcast and audio studios, editing suites and collaborative spaces.

Motion Capture Lab

The Motion Capture Lab is a space for digital creatives to explore performance and facial capture to create accurate animations and bring characters to life.

Oral Health Clinic

AUT’s oral health clinic offers affordable oral health services by supervised students. They also educate the community on integrating oral health into overall well-being.

Outside the Square (OTS)

Outside the Square is our student-run public relations consultancy which provides services to not-for-profit organisations, giving students hands-on experience.

RAU Textiles Research Facility

RAU is a specialist centre for textile research that can be used to explore everything from digital knitting and weaving to wearable technologies.

Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM)

The Scanning Electron Microscope facility houses a state-of-the-art Hitachi SU-70 SEM capable of ultra-high-resolution imaging.

SPRINZ labs

The SPRINZ labs enable staff and students to undertake research activities using specialist equipment, and provide services to the public and external organisations.

Student radio stations

Static 88.1 and SOUNDZ are AUT’s official student radio stations. Every year, a new team of students take over the stations and practise going on air.

Te Waha Nui newsroom

Our celebrated student-driven newsroom, Te Waha Nui, enables students to take part in live reporting, work with editors and publish their own stories.

Te Wai Ngutu Kākā Gallery is a suite of galleries and project spaces where students showcase their work to the public in exhibitions and events.
