Virtual Production Studio

Using the same technology as many Hollywood productions, our Virtual Production Studio offers greater immersion and flexibility for actors, designers, film crews and post-production teams. The interdisciplinary space lets students gain hands-on experience working on film, performances, presentations and other live experiences, all while gaining the technical skills to give them an edge in an ever-growing industry.

A multidisciplinary creative hub

The Virtual Production Studio is more than just a film production space. Strategically located next to our TV and Motion Capture Studios, the integration between these spaces makes the studio a meeting point for all kinds of creative, collaborative work in the fields of art and design, engineering, computer science, architecture, product design and beyond.

Who can use the Virtual Production Studio?

The Virtual Production Studio is open to both AUT students and external partners and clients.
