Media Centre
The Media Centre is a large collaborative hub, run by students under guidance from staff. Like an industry media centre, students use the facility to collaborate on live briefs, stories and assignments for real products and clients, and design, write, record, edit, research and interview to create high quality, industry-standard media. All communication studies students use the Media Centre as a core part of their studies.
The Media Centre includes:
- An editor’s hub
- News studios
- Recording and podcasting spaces
- Digital media and edit suites
- Two large mobile smart TVs used for teaching and media viewing
- Audio-visual recording booths
