A gift to AUT is an investment in a vibrant and diverse university, one committed to making education broadly accessible to a student body that represents New Zealand society.
Our generous donors enable us to nurture students in a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment. They support our goal to create great graduates who will go into the world and apply knowledge for wellbeing and prosperity, challenge thinking and tackle social, environmental, business and political issues.
Keir Trust Study Award recipient Jesse Ung focused all of his energy and passion into creating the best work he possibly could while completing his Bachelor of Communication Studies at AUT. Professor Des Graydon – one of AUT’s greatest leaders – passed away ten years ago, but a scholarship fund established in his name is helping ensure the next generation of leaders have the support they need to develop their full potential.
Each year the Des Graydon Memorial Scholarship gifts one secondary school student $12,000 towards their second and third year of study in the Bachelor of Business programme at AUT.

Chillisoft is helping to nurture the talent pool by offering two annual awards to AUT students. Inaugural scholarship recipient Nicole Girvan says the grant is hugely beneficial – and the scholarship extends further than just financial help.
