AUT talenthub is a personalised and free recruitment service for employers – we take the hard work out of the recruitment process by screening and shortlisting talent for your role. We'll create your job ad, promote it, receive applications, and interview students or graduates before giving you a shortlist of candidates. We'll advertise your paid role to graduates and any students who have completed their first year of study.
It’s free to advertise on our high-traffic online job board, AUT CareerHub, and your ad will be seen by current AUT students as well as recent graduates. If your role is relevant to specific AUT programmes, we'll promote it via our popular social media channels, too.
You have control of the advertising and recruitment process when you use AUT CareerHub – you write the job ad and manage all applications yourself. Job opportunities should be career-building and offer value to the student (or graduate), like graduate roles and graduate programmes, work experience and internships.

Most of our study programmes at AUT include workplace experience for students. Placements benefit the employer as much as the student – your organisation can get help on a project, and students get relevant work experience while gaining credit toward their study.
Placement lengths can vary from weeks to months, and during the placement you’ll need to give feedback on the student’s work.
