Drop or swap a course

Want to change a course or courses for the AUT programme you’re studying? You can do this online through My AUT – but there are a few things you should do first:

• Check that you’ll still be able to meet the requirements for your qualification (complete all the courses you’ll need to graduate), even if you change courses
• Think about your study pathway and make sure you’ll still meet the prerequisites for any future courses you’ll need to take

Until when can I change my courses?

You can change your courses before the enrolment withdrawal date. You can find the exact dates for your course(s) in your course enrolment record in My AUT.

Does this impact my fees?

Maybe – it depends on whether your new course costs the same as the one you're swapping. If your new fees are lower, you may be entitled to a fees refund.
