Requesting a fees refund or credit for extraordinary circumstances
AUT wants to ensure you have access to all the support you need during study.
Before considering a withdrawal, we strongly advise you to contact the Student Hub, so they can discuss these support measures. They can also provide assistance on how to complete the ‘Fees Credit/Refund Application for Extraordinary Circumstances’ form.
An extraordinary withdrawal application will normally only be considered before the end of the study period that the withdrawal is requested for. In some cases, your application can be considered if you apply up to 12 months after the study period.
