Management department

The management department is part of AUT's Business School. We collaborate on teaching and research with subject areas outside of business, like history, nursing, politics and more.

Management covers strategic aspects as well as the day-to-day realities of managing organisations and people. We focus on management for the future, looking at areas such as business, human resource management and employment relations, strategic management, and gender and diversity.

Research in management

We believe in high-quality research that has impact, and have world-class researchers and research strengths across management.
