With the Postgraduate Diploma in Business you develop advanced level business skills in as little as one year. If you want to build upon your undergraduate degree in a business subject area, this programme could be for you. You will gain advanced knowledge and research skills that will enhance your career prospects.
This qualification is designed for students who want to gain a postgraduate qualification in stages. Pathways are available to the Master of Business or the Master of Philosophy (subject to completing research methods courses).
Completed one of the following or equivalent with a B grade average or higher in all relevant prerequisite courses in the selected business subject area:
Admission to the Postgraduate Diploma in Business is subject to approval by the Dean (or representative).
To graduate with a Postgraduate Diploma in Business you must successfully complete 120 points from the Master of Business courses, subject to satisfying prerequisite requirements.
Foci in the Postgraduate Diploma in Business are available for students who complete at least 75 points in one of the following specialist business disciplines: accounting, business information systems, economics, finance, international business, management, marketing, or sport leadership and management.
The Postgraduate Diploma in Business doesn’t include a research project, but can serve as a pathway into the Master of Business research degree.
