Director of the Center for STEM Learning at the University of Colorado Boulder and Director of Corporate Research at the National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT)

Brad McLain, Ph.D. is a social scientist interested in the nature and psychology of transformation and leadership. He is the founder of Designing Transformative Experiences, LLC and author of the book of the same name. Dr. McLain also serves as director of corporate research at the National Center for Women and Information Technology, where he routinely works with companies such as Apple, Morgan Stanley, Merck, and Google.

He also is the director of the Center for STEM Learning at the University of Colorado Boulder, has served on the board of directors for the Jane Goodall Institute, and chaired the leadership committee for Dr. Goodall’s Roots & Shoots international educational program. He is also an accomplished filmmaker, having produced and directed 3 documentaries and dozens of videos. His TEDx Talks, podcasts, and other work can be found online.
