My PhD is centred around the perceptions of Alcoholics Anonymous (A.A.) by both consumers and providers of addiction treatment. I have just completed face-to-face interviews with providers of treatment all over NZ as the first leg of data collection. The 2nd leg is to conduct Online Focus Groups with past or current consumers of alcohol and/or other addiction treatment to discuss their perceptions of A.A.. The intention to is get as many diverse views from a wide diversity of consumers. I am a former provider of addiction and mental health treatment in the United States (been living in New Zealand for over 6 years) and a recovery "insider" as well. I welcome all views! I hope you consider participating!
