Painting, Printmaking and Drawing
Explore painting, printmaking and drawing media, ideas, methods, processes and technologies, and how these can be used to imaginatively communicate and contextualise critical ideas and art-related concepts.
In this minor you’ll experiment with painting, printmaking and drawing to develop creative artworks that express your unique voice, perspective and place in society. You’ll learn in a studio-based environment and have plenty of opportunities to work with a broad range of media, ideas, methods, processes and technologies.
Only available to students in:
- Bachelor of Visual Arts Te Tohu Paetahi mō Toi Ataata
- Bachelor of Design Te Tohu Paetahi mō te Hoahoa
You can’t study this minor if you’re studying the Painting, Printmaking and Drawing major in the Bachelor of Visual Arts Te Tohu Paetahi mō Toi Ataata.
Minor must include
60 points from VSAR508, VSAR612, VSAR613 and VSAR710.
