AUT fire alarm text alert
UT students and staff can opt in to receive text alerts when a fire alarm is activated on campus. You can choose the locations, days, times and specific periods when you’d like to receive alerts. Log in using your AUT network login to set this up.
Financial assistance
There are extra costs that can come with maintaining your independence, and we’re committed to making sure you can focus on your studies and life at AUT without added financial stress. If you are struggling to keep up, AUT’s Financial Emergency and Hardship Assistance can support you with things like medical expenses, specialised equipment, transport or emergency housing. Scholarships
The AUT School Leaver Scholarship – Hiki Ake (Lift Up) category is awarded to one talented school leaver each year who faces significant barriers to starting university. It covers three years of full-time study in a bachelor's degree..
The Sir Roy Mckenzie AUT Deaf Scholarship is awarded each year to two Deaf students, one undergraduate and one postgraduate, to support their study journey with a stipend.
