Māori have been involved in major business and trade since their earliest times in this country, until they were dispossessed of most of their asset base and guided toward manual labour. Using traditional as well as adopted skills and knowledge, Māori are returning to business in greater numbers, and AUT University provides study programmes to assist Māori to succeed.
Dr Colin Knox has been working, researching and teaching in this field for many years, responding to the desire of Māori to improve the financial position of their families.
Research and supervisory interests include:
