The Chillisoft-ESET Cyber Security Scholarship was established in 2019 to support academically talented students studying towards a Master of Information Security and Digital Forensics at the Auckland University of Technology.

The Chillisoft-ESET Cyber Security Scholarship will provide a student studying in the Master of Information Security and Digital Forensics programme with financial support in the form of a fees scholarship.

Reference: Applicants must nominate via the online portal an academic referee in support of their application. The nominated referee will be sent an email from the application portal AUT CommunityForce and asked to comment on the applicant’s ability to succeed in the MISDF and their suitability for the scholarship.
The Selection Panel will comprise of two academic representatives from the School of Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences in the field of Cyber Security (nominated by the Head of School), and a member of the Computer and Mathematical Sciences Industry Advisory Committee.
Applicants will be notified by the University Scholarships Office of the outcome as soon as possible after the panel have met.
The Selection Panel may refrain from making any recommendations if it finds no applicant of sufficient merit.
The Selection Panel’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into following the decision.
The Scholarship is conditional on the successful applicant enrolling in a minimum of 45 points in the Master of Information Security and Digital Forensics in the year of award.
