AUT Global is pleased to be able to offer scholarships to support students to undertake an international exchange experience at an AUT Global partner university. The aim of the AUT Global Exchange Scholarship is to increase the ability of AUT students to participate in outbound exchange opportunities.

Semester 2, 2026 scholarship opportunities
AUT Global is pleased to be able to offer scholarships to support students to undertake an international exchange experience at an AUT Global partner university. The aim of the AUT Global Exchange Scholarship is to increase the ability of AUT students to participate in outbound exchange opportunities.
The amount of the AUT Global Exchange Scholarship award is determined by the geographical location of the AUT Global partner university the student is attending. These amounts are detailed below:
- Asia - $1,500
- USA/Canada - $2,500
- UK and Europe - $3,000
The number of awards available is limited by a capped budget, so applications are required.
Applications will be opening in early 2026 for students who have applied to AUT Global for an exchange semester.

AUT Business School is pleased to be able to offer a scholarship to enable students in the Bachelor of Business to undertake an international exchange at a business school in selected destinations or as approved on a case-by-case basis by the Business Outbound Scholarship Selection Panel.
The aim of the Business Outbound Scholarship is to offer assistance to students when, due to financial circumstances, it would be difficult for them to undertake an exchange.

The AUT Business School, supported by a generous donation from NEXT Foundation, is pleased to be able to offer a scholarship to enable students in the Bachelor of Business to undertake an international exchange at a business school at a partner university as approved by the Business International Exchange Scholarship Selection Panel.

Other scholarship opportunities
This scholarship if available for universities in the South-West region of Germany, but funding differs yearly. For students interested in attending the University of Mannheim Business School on exchange, this is often a scholarship available to apply to. AUT students choosing Mannheim for exchange will be provided with instructions on how to apply from the AUT Global team.
Universities New Zealand - Te Pōkai Tara - lists scholarships, many of which fund postgraduate study overseas. These scholarships are funded from contributions from charitable trusts, individuals, governments and industry.

The DAAD website collates scholarships from numerous organisations, such as the DAAD, political foundations and business institutions. If you are interested in studying in Germany, have a browse to see what you can find.
