Using your VA education funding to study at AUT
- Auckland University of Technology (AUT) is an eligible institution to receive student education benefits from the US Department of Veterans Affairs for eligible programmes. You should check the list of approved programmes on the VA website
- Once you’re admitted to AUT and your enrolment is finalised, AUT will certify your enrolment, and report your tuition and fees to the VA
- Funding disbursement to the university typically takes four to eight weeks. You’re responsible for checking with Veterans Affairs when your funding is expected to be paid
- Exchange rate variations may affect the amount received. If the funding paid doesn’t cover your full tuition fees as outlined in your Offer of Place, you’re responsible for paying the remaining balance. AUT accepts no responsibility for any variation in currency exchange rates
- Log into your e-Benefit to track the status of your enrolment, payment history and remaining eligibility
