I am a strong advocate of lifelong learning and my passion is guiding people to tertiary study and career training post-secondary school. I work alongside a range of audiences and demographics, particularly in South Auckland. My role allows me to invest daily in peoples futures and inevitably, the futures of their children, families and community. Above all, the essence of who I am and what I do is helping others realise their own potential.
I am a qualified NZ Sign Language Interpreter. I completed my Bachelor of Arts NZSL-English Interpreting at AUT and worked at AUT as an interpreter for a number of years. Feeling a shift within myself towards career guidance, I took up a National Diploma in Career Development and am in the process of completing that. I have worked at AUT for seven years.
I am the eldest of four and one of 11 across my very blended family of biological and step-parents. I am of Samoan, Scottish, German Chinese descent and was born and raised here in Aukilani NZ.
