Are you completing the AUT Edge Award or a postgrad student completing the Beyond AUT Award? Your volunteer hours with AUT Sport can be used towards the volunteering requirement.

Industry and workplace experience

Looking for practical experience that connects directly to your study? Industry experience and work placements are available for second‑ and third‑year students studying sport and recreation, event management or business. Placements give you hands‑on experience in a supported environment, right here on campus, where you can build practical skills and see how sport operates beyond the sideline.

Projects could include:
