Postgraduate study rooms
Postgraduate study rooms are located on the AUT City, North and South Campuses, offering a variety of facilities and resources for postgraduate students* at AUT.
*Postgraduate study room access is restricted to postgraduate students enrolled in a level 8, or higher, postgraduate qualification (eg: standalone 120-point B(Hons); PgCerts; PgDips; master’s; and doctoral programmes).
Locations
City Campus
- Location: Level 4, WU building – room WU415
- Facilities: 27 individual computers and four group study rooms available
- Hours: 6am-11pm

North Campus
- Temporarily relocated to: Level 1, AS building – room AS104 from 1 Dec 2025 for the duration of 2026 while AL is refurbished
- Facilities: 16 individual spaces available
- Hours: 7.30am-11pm

South Campus
- Location: Level 2, MA building – room MA206 and MA203 (Doctoral Study Room)
- Facilities: 7 individual computers available
- Hours: 6am-11pm

Shared facilities include:
- Networked computers and spacious individual work stations
- Printer/photocopier (normal printing charges apply)
- Telephone
- Wireless internet access
- Lockers
- Break-out lounge spaces
- Tea room/kitchenette facilities
Note: Not all facilities are equipped with all the items above.
