Postgraduate study rooms

Postgraduate study rooms are located on the AUT City, North and South Campuses, offering a variety of facilities and resources for postgraduate students* at AUT.

*Postgraduate study room access is restricted to postgraduate students enrolled in a level 8, or higher, postgraduate qualification (eg: standalone 120-point B(Hons); PgCerts; PgDips; master’s; and doctoral programmes).

Locations

City Campus

  • Location: Level 4, WU building – room WU415
  • Facilities: 27 individual computers and four group study rooms available
  • Hours: 6am-11pm

North Campus

  • Temporarily relocated to: Level 1, AS building – room AS104 from 1 Dec 2025 for the duration of 2026 while AL is refurbished
  • Facilities: 16 individual spaces available
  • Hours: 7.30am-11pm

South Campus

  • Location: Level 2, MA building – room MA206 and MA203 (Doctoral Study Room)
  • Facilities: 7 individual computers available
  • Hours: 6am-11pm

Shared facilities include:

  • Networked computers and spacious individual work stations
  • Printer/photocopier (normal printing charges apply)
  • Telephone
  • Wireless internet access
  • Lockers
  • Break-out lounge spaces
  • Tea room/kitchenette facilities

Note: Not all facilities are equipped with all the items above.
