Virtual Production Studio Showreel

AUT’s Virtual Production Studio is open for business – as showcased in this promotional video crafted by the Studio team.
The video was imagined, lit, shot, and edited entirely by the studio’s in-house technical team and students across the Faculty of Design and Creative Technologies.
Faculty Technical Service Manager Loretta White says the video was a true team effort, showcasing the possibilities of the studio and the talent of the crew. “Every frame was made possible by the talent, creativity, and problem-solving skills of a crew who know our facilities inside out. From designing and building the sets, to perfecting the lighting, sound and fine-tuning the edit, they brought the production to life.
“This project is more than a showcase of our LED volume and VP capabilities, it’s a celebration of what happens when talented and determined people have the tools, the trust, and the space to create.”
The studio is currently being used for teaching and research across the Schools of Art & Design, Communication Studies, Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences and Future Environments. It is available for commercial projects when not being used for teaching and research.
