New Professors and Associate Professors
AUT is proud to announce the promotion of 15 academics to Professor and 22 academics to Associate Professor.
AUT Vice-Chancellor Professor Damon Salesa says, "congratulations to the 37 highly accomplished appointees who have progressed to the apex of academic excellence at AUT.
“Their hard work, scholarship, and leadership, both within and beyond our University, make them truly deserving of this prestigious recognition and being appointed to the University’s professoriate.”
Associate Professor Khylee Quince (Ngapuhi, Te Roroa, Ngati Porou, me Ngati Kahungungu), Dean of AUT’s Law School, is among those promoted to Professor. She has been a part of the AUT whānau since 2017.
“I feel very proud, especially for my whānau and wider community,” says Khylee.
“Role-modelling for our tamariki and mokopuna is very important to me – if you can see it, you can be it!”
The promotions to Professor and Associate Professor are effective as of January 2024.
