Professor Valery Feigin, AUT’s director of the National Institute for Stroke and Applied Neurosciences (NISAN), has just received a Research.com New Zealand Leader Award for ranking 1412 in the world and 3 in New Zealand in the 2026 Edition of Ranking of Top Scientists in the field of Medicine.
Professor Valery Feigin’s advanced training in neurology and clinical epidemiology research has taken him from Moscow to the Mayo Clinic in America and Erasmus University in the Netherlands.
