School of Future Environments senior lecturer Jade Kake (Ngāpuhi, Te Arawa, Te Whakatōhea) recently completed her architectural registration in te reo Māori; becoming the first person to do so.
The process involves submitting a body of work to the New Zealand Registered Architects’ Board, alongside a “professional conversation”, which entails meeting with an assessment panel and talking about the work and the architectural process.
