Dr Sally Britnell has been appointed to the Health working group as part of a refreshed New Zealand Disability Strategy. Whaikaha – Ministry of Disabled People said more than 350 expressions of interest were received and the selection process was tough. Sally says she is excited to be part of the working group.
Sally, who is Deafblind, is a senior lecturer and senior research fellow at AUT, and has held numerous leadership and advisory roles in Aotearoa, including at the Deafblind Association of NZ and Hato Hone St John.
