Dr Mahsa Mohaghegh (McCauley) from the School of Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences has been appointed as Communication and Information Commissioner for the New Zealand National Commission for UNESCO by Hon Erica Stanford MP, Minister of Education.
In this role, Mahsa will help provide expert advice to the Government on UNESCO matters such as promoting intellectual and moral solidarity, embracing diversity and inclusion, and addressing critical issues in our information landscape.
