Dr Lincoln Dam received a research award for his research on Asian identities and their relationships with Māori and the Treaty of Waitangi at the recent inaugural Flourishing Asian Communities and Workforce Symposium.
Lincoln says he is interested in the relationship between Asian and Māori communities, particularly because very soon Asian communities will outnumber Māori in Aotearoa demographically. He is also interested in how our wellbeing may be tied up with the wellbeing of Māori.
