AUT's Centre for Critical Food Studies will be hosting an In-Person Political Forum in support of Vote for Kai. Vote for Kai is a collective who believe in an Aotearoa New Zealand where everyone has access to healthy, culturally appropriate kai and Te Tiriti ō Waitangi is honoured in shaping our food system.
In eight weeks, New Zealanders have the chance to decide the future of our government for the next three years. That includes how we govern, run and design our food system. It’s something that affects every single one of us on a daily basis.
This political forum is where we bring the conversation into one room. Join us for a cross-party discussion on where our political parties actually stand on food, and what they're prepared to do about it.
