Te Ataata x Villa Antipode: Residency Reflections & Future Collaborations
| Date: | Tuesday 25 Aug, 5:30pm - 7:30pm |
|---|---|
| Location: | AUT City Campus WG Building, Auckland New Zealand |

Over the past few weeks, French artist Alizée Armet has brought her practice to Aotearoa New Zealand as part of the 2026 Te Ataata Residency, working alongside a range of academics and researchers at AUT to explore and extend her work at the intersection of art, science, technology and the living world.
Delivered in partnership with Auckland University of Technology (AUT), the Embassy of France in New Zealand, Alliance Française Auckland and Villa Antipode, Te Ataata creates a space for artistic experimentation, research exchange and new connections between France and Aotearoa.
Please join us for an informal end-of-residency reflection and conversation with Alizée, our partners, collaborators and the AUT community. We’ll hear about her experience, the ideas and connections that have emerged through the residency, and where these conversations might lead next.
We also want to look to the future of Te Ataata.
What could Te Ataata become? What new collaborations could grow from it? And how can we continue creating a space where different disciplines, cultures and communities can meet, experiment and make something new together?
We invite our partners, collaborators, academics, students and wider community to join the conversation, celebrate the residency and help us imagine what comes next.
All welcome.
