AUT Law School is proud to host the Great Graduate Speaker Series, with AUT law alumnus Charlie Piho discussing diversity in the law: how our legal profession can do more to reflect the rich diversity of the communities and organisations we represent.

Charlie is a Senior Crown Prosecutor with Kayes Fletcher Walker, at the office of the Manukau Crown Solicitor. He is a criminal trial lawyer in South Auckland and will be addressing diversity in law and discuss topics such as:

  • Is there anything you can do, as an individual in the legal profession, to promote the inclusiveness of others?
  • Do you ever feel like you don’t belong in our legal profession because you have a different background from others?
  • Does our legal profession need to change the way we have traditionally done things to serve the communities and organisations more effectively and fairly?
