AUT’s School of Future Environments, in partnership with MATES in Construction, will host the next event in its Thought Leadership series: Empowering Innovation and Well-being through Systems Thinking.
Building on the success of the recent Spark Change event held on World Suicide Prevention Day, this session continues the conversation on how our sector can work collectively to improve mental health and resilience across construction and engineering.
Timed to follow Mental Health Awareness Week (6–12 October) and the release of the 2025 MATES Well-being Survey (supported by ASB), the event explores how innovation and well-being can be strengthened together through systems thinking and cross-sector collaboration.
Speakers from research, industry, and community will share practical insights and approaches for creating healthier, more connected workplaces and learning environments.
