The School of Future Environments at AUT is proud to take part in Research Week 2025, showcasing the depth and impact of its future-focused, transdisciplinary research across architecture, built environment engineering and creative technologies.
As a dynamic nexus of transformative technologies, collaboration and applied learning, our school is uniquely positioned to anticipate, and shape the global and local challenges that define our future environments.
This year’s theme, Research that Makes a Difference, aligns strongly with our mission: to shape sustainable, resilient and future-ready environments. Our programme highlights the real-world impact of our research through partnerships with industry, student-led initiatives and our four emerging research centres.
