All AUT students and staff are invited to Hikuwai Plaza, AUT City Campus, on Wednesday 22 October from 3pm onwards to celebrate Diwali with our Indian community.
Come and enjoy the vibrant colours, flavours and performances that Diwali brings. You will discover an assortment of Indian cuisine from various regions of India and power-packed live performances.
The entertainment lineup includes Bollywood dance performances, classical Indian dance, a dhol drumming performance, and a DJ to keep the party going all night long, complete with an AV setup.
We’ll also have a beautiful lantern and lights display and stunning marquee décor to set the festive mood. You can also take part in a Diya Painting Workshop and a Rangoli Workshop.
Food vendors will be offering a variety of delicious items for purchase starting at 3pm. Bring your smile and festive spirit! You are welcome to wear your best traditional outfit and come join the celebration.
