Experience the colour, flavours and energy of Diwali with a journey through India, right here at AUT.
Join us and explore stations inspired by different regions of India, including Punjab and Gujarat.
There’ll be plenty to see, taste and get involved in:
- Get creative with diya painting and rangoli making, visit our henna artists and caricaturist, or capture the moment in the 360 photobooth.
- Enjoy live entertainment throughout the evening, with a DJ, live singing, dhol, Bhangra, South Indian and Garba dance performances.
- Taste your way around India with samosa chaat, idly and bonda, Kutchi dabeli, gulab jamun, kheer, mango lassi and masala chai.
The event is free for all AUT students and staff, including the food and drinks. When you arrive, scan in with the AUT app to receive your food and drink tickets.
Come in your traditional or cultural dress, bring your friends and come celebrate Diwali with the AUT community.
