AUT AI Hackathon with Tū Ātea
This August, AUT will be hosting a two-day AI Hackathon in the heart of South Auckland at the South Campus as part of the Aotearoa AI Hackathon Festival 2026.
Atamai Iahiko – Te Ara Matihiko – Digital Futures invites you to work with others to turn ideas into real solutions. Whether you’re new to AI or already experimenting, this is about learning by doing and building something that connects to real challenges.
Delivered in partnership with Tū Ātea and grounded in mātauranga Māori and Indigenous approaches, the focus is on “AI for good” – creating outcomes that support communities, reflect different perspectives and shape better futures.
