In this facilitated discussion, led by Te Mātāpuna’s Research Services team, we will explore issues which the use of GenAI tools in research present, including:
- What impact does GenAI have on the development of critical thinking?
- In what ways does AI reinforce stereotypes and biases, and proliferate misinformation? What does this mean for our research culture?
- What are the effects on privacy, copyright and cultural sensitivity? How can we safely use AI in the context of Te Aronui?
