Graduate Diploma in Science
In as little as one year you can develop advanced knowledge of science, or computer and mathematical sciences with the Graduate Diploma in Science. It's a great choice if you already have a degree.
This graduate diploma is designed for professionals, including secondary school teachers, who want to update their knowledge of current technologies and applications of science, or computer and mathematical sciences - from analytics to food science and medical laboratory science*.
The Graduate Diploma in Science also prepares students for postgraduate study in an area of science, or computer and mathematical sciences in which they were not originally trained.

Minimum entry requirements for the Graduate Diploma in Science
- A bachelor's degree OR
- Relevant professional qualification or experience approved by the dean (or representative) to be equivalent to a bachelor's degree

English language requirements
- IELTS (Academic) 6.5 overall with all bands 6.0 or higher; or equivalent.
In the Graduate Diploma in Science you choose courses from the Bachelor of Science to make up a total of 120 points. At least 75 points in your graduate diploma must be at level 7.
You can include 30 points from any other bachelor’s degree (with approval of the Graduate Diploma in Science programme leader).
