AUT has legal obligations in relation to students engaging with the public during their studies. These apply to all programmes which include placements, particularly those educating students in disciplines covered by the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act (2003) and/or the Vulnerable Children’s Act (2014), as well as students whose learning may involve practice in which they may potentially come into contact with children.
All applicants who have been offered a provisional place for these programmes are required to submit the following additional documents:
