First, let us know who you are:
Being withness to harm can be distressing. We want to make sure that you are supported too. We will also keep you
informed of our course of action within the limits of AUT’s privacy policy.
Every submission is read with care and taken seriously. Please keep in mind that anonymous disclosures do limit the actions AUT is able to take.
Please give us the name(s) of the person(s) you are concerned about and contact details if you know them. Tell us their
relationship to you. If you were a witness to an incident that happened to strangers on campus, give us the details that
you remember (eg number of people, description of those involved).
If something happened to an AUT student, we will get in touch with them. If
something happened to a member of the public, a family member for example, we
will get in touch with you to discuss your options.
Provide as much detail as you remember. Don’t worry about putting a label on the event.
Things to consider: when did the incident(s) happen, where were you at the time, who was involved, what actions
have already been taken and were there any witnesses.
