IT account registration
As an AUT student you must register your IT account to use AUT online services like AUT wifi, My AUT, Canvas, printing and the internet. You can register your IT account from home or from an AUT computer.
Registering your IT account from home
Network login details are provided to you in your Orientation invitation email four weeks prior to the event. You can then register your IT account from home. To do this:
- Open up a web browser
- Go to the Network Services page and login with your network login and your default password
- Click on 'Click to Register' next to 'Registration Status'
- The IT account registration page will open
- After you've submitted the registration form, you'll receive a verification link at your personal email address and/or mobile phone
- Make sure you click on at least one of the verification links to complete the registration process
Registering your IT account from an AUT computer
- On the login screen, press Ctrl-Alt-Del at the same time
- Log in with your network login and default password
- Open up a web browser
- Go to the Network Services page and log in with your network login and your default password
- Click on 'Click to Register' next to 'Registration Status'
- The IT account registration page will open
- After you've submitted the registration form, you'll receive a verification link at your personal email address and/or mobile phone
- Make sure you click on at least one of the verification links to complete the registration process
