Leadership (Beyond AUT Award)
A leader is someone who motivates you and inspires people and encourages them towards a common goal. Good leaders are like gold to organisations, so it's very important to challenge yourself or develop leadership skills as a student.
Leadership is an important part of the Beyond AUT Award for AUT postgraduate students.
What you need to do to show your leadership skills
Part 1: Attend leadership presentations and workshops
To complete the leadership part of the Beyond AUT Award you need to:
- Attend two leadership presentations - run throughout the year, offering a range of speakers
- Attend a leadership workshop - find out what leadership means to you and how to further your leadership skills
These are run regularly by the Employability and Careers team. Your attendance needs to be verified to be credited towards the Beyond AUT Award.
You can book into events on Elab Online
