Montréal moments
Mateus Pedr’Angelo chose Concordia University for North American city life, French culture, new friendships and adventures beyond Montréal.
Mateus Pedr’Angelo

Why I chose my host uni:
Montréal is a lively city with a North American lifestyle, but mixed with French culture. It has easy access to major cities in the US such as Boston and New York, and it was an opportunity to learn French.
How I found applying to my host uni:
It was fairly straightforward. If you stay in Canada for under 6 months, you don’t even need a study visa, just an easy tourist ETA.
How I found learning in a different academic system:
The big focus on exams was definitely challenging at first, but you adjust to it.
What I gained from this experience:
I’ve gained lifelong friends, business understanding of the North American context and many dear stories to tell.
