International students' letter of completion

Are you studying at AUT as an international student? We understand how important your Completion Letter is for visa, employment and further study purposes, and we appreciate the challenges international students face.

When your Completion Letter can be issued

The Completion Letter can only be issued

• After your final results are released; and
• Your eligibility to graduate is confirmed through our internal verification processes

Even if your results appear on platforms like Canvas or Arion, your faculty must complete all compliance checks before the letter is issued.

To maintain accuracy and meet legal requirements, this process can't be expedited. You don't need to contact the graduation team, as your letter will be automatically released once all checks are complete.

The team is aware of visa expiry dates and ensures you receive your letter before any important deadlines.
