Te Āhuru Recreation Centre

The students-only Te Āhuru Recreation Centre in the WQ Building is more than just a place to study. It's a space where AUT students can connect, get active, unwind and make the most of campus life. Whether you're keen to shoot hoops on the full-sized sports court, rehearse in the dance studio, join a movie night, get creative with arts and crafts, or challenge friends in the Esports Arena, there's something for everyone. You can also explore your musical side in our music room, with a range of instruments available to play and enjoy. Te Āhuru is also home to flexible spaces for clubs and student groups to meet, collaborate and host activities. With large communal areas to relax, share a meal and catch up with friends, it's a welcoming hub where you can feel part of the AUT community.
