AUT Worldwide
At AUT, our students represent nearly 140 countries – 140 cultures woven into our collective identity and we keep looking for ways to celebrate this. AUT Worldwide is an occasion for all our student communities to come together, connect and celebrate who we are.
Join the AUT community for AUT Worldwide from 5 to 7 May
Enjoy cultural performances, international and local food, music, activities and great campus vibes. Meet new people and feel the energy of our global AUT whānau.
AUT Worldwide ki Manukau me Akoranga
Experience the joy of cultures coming together through vibrant cultural performances, hands-on activities, and the shared feast of a delicious local hāngī. This is a celebration of connection, community, and the rich diversity that makes AUT truly global.
A traditional Māori hāngī is a time honoured way of cooking food in an earth oven. Meats, fish, kumara, pumpkin, potato, and cabbage are carefully wrapped and slow cooked on hot stones beneath the ground for several hours. More than a meal, sharing kai is an expression of manaakitanga (hospitality) - bringing people together to enjoy, connect, and celebrate. Dress in your own cultural attire and be in to win spot prizes.
