The course focuses on the processes and products that go into making apparel and other textile goods. We discuss fibres, yarn production, knitting and knitwear, weaving, textile coloration and printing, fabric quality, specifications and care labelling, as well as taking a look at new fabric developments including smart textiles.
This course will appeal to those entering or currently involved in textile related manufacturing, design and product development, selection, sourcing and importing, quality control and assurance, wholesalers and retailers.
