Formerly the CFO of Tower Insurance and then CFO at NZME, Michael then moved into the role of CEO at NZME. Six years into the role, he thrives off the challenge and has significantly grown the business across its diverse range of platforms.

NZME (NZ Media and Entertainment) CEO Michael Boggs has been in his current role since 2016 and has more than 20 years’ experience as a C-suite executive. Michael’s vast knowledge ranges from changing technology and business influence on the consumer market, through to focusing on developing and accelerating growth across NZME’s platforms in the areas of subscription and classified offerings, digital and video content, while ensuring the sustainable growth of the company’s traditional print and radio platforms.
